If they differ, the Japanese text prevails. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 【日本語（正文）】 第1条（定義） 1. 「本フォント」とは、本ライセンス文書とともに頒布されるフォント ファイル一式（ソースファイル、ビルドスクリプトおよび付属文書を 含む）をいいます。 2. 「原版」とは、制作者（Puzzlebyrinth）が頒布する本フォントを いいます。 3. 「改変版」とは、本フォントの全部または一部に追加・削除・変更を 加えたもの、およびフォント形式の変換・サブセット化により生成 されたフォントファイルをいいます。 4. 「成果物」とは、本フォントを用いて表示・描画された文字を含む 制作物（ロゴ、画像、文書、印刷物、映像、ゲーム画面、Webページ 等）をいい、フォントファイルそのものを含みません。 5. 「公開」とは、成果物またはフォントファイルを、不特定または多数 の第三者が閲覧・取得できる状態に置くこと（頒布・販売・放送・ 配信・展示を含む）をいいます。 第2条（許諾） 制作者は、本ライセンスの条件に従うことを条件として、何人に対して も、無償かつ非独占的に、次の行為を許諾します。 1. 本フォントを、個人・法人、営利・非営利を問わず使用すること （成果物の制作・公開・販売を含む）。 2. 本フォントを、Webフォントとして埋め込み配信すること、電子文書 （PDF等）へ埋め込むこと、アプリケーション・ゲーム等に同梱する こと。 3. 本フォントを改変し、改変版を作成すること。 4. 原版および改変版を、第4条の条件に従って再頒布すること。 第3条（クレジット表記義務） 1. 成果物を公開する場合、公開者は、当該成果物または公開媒体の 合理的な場所（クレジット欄、スタッフロール、動画・配信の概要欄、 Webサイトのフッターまたは案内ページ、書籍・印刷物の奥付、 アプリ・ゲームのライセンス表示画面、README 等）に、次の形式 または実質的に同等の表記を、判読可能な形で含めなければなりません。 (a) Font: ＜使用したフォント名＞ (puzzlebyrinth.com) 例: Font: Puzzlebyrinth Maze (puzzlebyrinth.com) (b) フォント: ＜使用したフォント名＞（パズルラビリンス） 改変版を使用した場合は、由来が分かる表記 （例: Based on Puzzlebyrinth Maze (puzzlebyrinth.com)）とします。 2. 前項の表記は、成果物1点ごとに個別に行う必要はなく、同一の媒体・ シリーズ・サービス内で一括して行うことができます。 3. 公開を伴わない私的な利用には、クレジット表記は不要です。 4. 物理的制約等により前2項の方法によるクレジット表記が著しく困難な 場合（極小の印刷物等）は、購入者・閲覧者が合理的に到達できる 関連媒体（販売ページ、公式サイト等）への表記をもって代えること ができます。 第4条（再頒布の条件） 原版または改変版を頒布する場合は、次の各号のすべてを満たさなければ なりません。 1. 本ライセンス文書を改変せずそのまま同梱し、著作権表示を保持する こと。 2. 本ライセンスと異なる条件を追加しないこと。改変版も本ライセンス （第3条のクレジット表記義務を含む）の下で頒布すること。 3. 改変版に、元のフォント名またはこれと誤認されるおそれのある名称を 使用しないこと。ただし、由来の説明（"based on Puzzlebyrinth Maze" 等）に元の名称を用いることは妨げません。 4. 前号にかかわらず、自己の利用（自己が運営するWebサイト・アプリ での配信を含む）のためにのみ行うフォント形式の変換・サブセット 化は、名称を変更せずに行うことができます。この場合、当該変換物 を単体で第三者に再頒布してはなりません。 第5条（禁止事項） 1. 原版または改変版を、フォントファイル単体で、有償で販売すること はできません。ソフトウェア・ゲーム・文書テンプレート等の一部 として同梱して販売することは、第4条の条件を満たす限り可能です。 2. 本フォントの制作者・出所について誤認させる表示をしてはなりません。 3. 制作者の名称およびロゴを、本ライセンスが認める範囲を超えて、 宣伝・推奨の表示に使用してはなりません。 第6条（ライセンスの終了） 1. 本ライセンスの条件に違反した場合、本ライセンスに基づく許諾は 自動的に終了します。 2. 前項の場合でも、違反者が違反を知り、または制作者から通知を受けた 日から30日以内に違反を是正したときは、許諾は遡って回復します。 3. 許諾の終了は、終了前に適法に公開された成果物、および終了前に 適法に本フォントを取得した第三者の権利に影響しません。 第7条（無保証・免責） 本フォントは「現状有姿」で提供されます。制作者は、商品性、特定目的 適合性、権利非侵害を含め、明示・黙示を問わずいかなる保証も行いません。 制作者は、本フォントの使用または使用不能から生じるいかなる損害 （直接・間接・付随的・特別・結果的損害を含む）についても、法令上 免責が認められない場合を除き、責任を負いません。 第8条（雑則） 1. 本ライセンスのいずれかの条項が無効とされた場合でも、その他の 条項は引き続き有効とします。 2. 本ライセンスは日本法に準拠します。 3. 制作者は、本ライセンスの新しいバージョンを公表することがあります。 本フォントの各コピーには、それとともに頒布されたバージョンの 本ライセンスが適用されます。 4. 本ライセンスは著作権に基づく利用許諾であり、契約の成立に署名を 要しません。本フォントの使用・改変・頒布をもって、本ライセンス への同意とみなします。 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [English — courtesy translation] Article 1 (Definitions) 1. "Font Software" means the set of font files distributed together with this license, including source files, build scripts, and accompanying documentation. 2. "Original Version" means the Font Software as distributed by the author (Puzzlebyrinth). 3. "Modified Version" means any work created by adding to, deleting from, or altering the Font Software in whole or in part, and any font file produced by format conversion or subsetting. 4. "Work Product" means any creation that contains text displayed or rendered with the Font Software (logos, images, documents, print, video, game screens, web pages, etc.), excluding the font files themselves. 5. "Publish" means making a Work Product or font files available to unspecified or numerous third parties (including distribution, sale, broadcast, streaming, and exhibition). Article 2 (Grant) Subject to the terms of this license, the author grants everyone a free, non-exclusive license to: 1. use the Font Software for any purpose, personal or corporate, commercial or non-commercial, including creating, publishing, and selling Work Products; 2. embed and serve the Font Software as a web font, embed it in electronic documents (such as PDF), and bundle it with applications and games; 3. modify the Font Software and create Modified Versions; and 4. redistribute the Original Version and Modified Versions under the conditions of Article 4. Article 3 (Attribution requirement) 1. When Publishing a Work Product, the publisher must include, in a legible form and in a reasonable place of the Work Product or its publishing medium (credits, staff roll, video/stream description, website footer or information page, colophon, license screen of an app or game, README, etc.), a notice in the following form or a substantially equivalent one: Font: (puzzlebyrinth.com) e.g., Font: Puzzlebyrinth Maze (puzzlebyrinth.com) Where a Modified Version is used, the notice must indicate the origin (e.g., "Based on Puzzlebyrinth Maze (puzzlebyrinth.com)"). 2. The notice need not be repeated for every individual Work Product; a single notice may cover the same medium, series, or service. 3. Private, unpublished use requires no attribution. 4. Where attribution under the preceding paragraphs is impractical (e.g., very small printed items), a notice in a related medium reasonably reachable by purchasers or viewers (a sales page, an official site, etc.) may substitute for it. Article 4 (Conditions of redistribution) Any distribution of the Original Version or a Modified Version must satisfy all of the following: 1. include this license text unchanged and preserve the copyright notice; 2. add no terms that differ from this license; Modified Versions must be distributed under this same license, including the attribution requirement of Article 3; 3. not use the original font name, or any name confusingly similar to it, for a Modified Version — provided that using the name to describe origin (e.g., "based on Puzzlebyrinth Maze") is permitted; 4. notwithstanding the preceding item, format conversion and subsetting performed solely for one's own use (including serving on one's own website or app) may keep the original name; such converted files must not be redistributed to third parties on a standalone basis. Article 5 (Restrictions) 1. The Original Version and Modified Versions may not be sold as standalone font files. Selling them bundled as part of software, games, document templates, and the like is permitted, provided Article 4 is satisfied. 2. Do not misrepresent the author or origin of the Font Software. 3. Do not use the author's name or logo for promotion or endorsement beyond what this license permits. Article 6 (Termination) 1. This license terminates automatically upon breach of its terms. 2. The license is retroactively reinstated if the breach is cured within 30 days of the violator becoming aware of it or being notified by the author. 3. Termination does not affect Work Products lawfully published before termination, nor the rights of third parties who lawfully obtained the Font Software before termination. Article 7 (No warranty; limitation of liability) The Font Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The author shall not be liable for any damages (direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Font Software, except where liability may not be excluded by law. Article 8 (Miscellaneous) 1. If any provision of this license is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. 2. This license is governed by the laws of Japan. 3. The author may publish new versions of this license. Each copy of the Font Software is governed by the version of the license distributed with it. 4. This is a copyright license; no signature is required. Using, modifying, or distributing the Font Software constitutes acceptance of this license.
