Soundtrack: 7 Billion Humans — hire more workers, and the band grows too
7 Billion Humans is the sequel to Human Resource Machine, where a single new hire became a whole floor of workers all running the same program at once. The composer is still Kyle Gabler. Where the first game ran almost everything through one software synth, the sequel brings in a real guitarist and cellist and even swaps genres mid-album, as on "Stressed Out Bossa Nova." Gabler's own liner note calls it music for "happy multi-threaded programming" — the band, like the workforce, gets bigger to match.
