Lode Runner (1983) — The Allowance He Paid the Neighborhood Kids
In 1983, Douglas E. Smith shipped Lode Runner with an 'edit mode' he added because he couldn't design 150 levels alone. That mode gave Japan Bomberman, and its 'turn players into designers' idea still echoes in Portal 2's Puzzle Maker.
